Go With The Yoga Flow And Stay Tuned In

Waking up can be the hardest part of the day.

Your alarm is ringing right next to you and you would love nothing more than to take your phone and throw it against the wall.

But then there are times that you have to wake up in the middle of the night because you are supposed to go on an adventure, and waking up couldn’t be easier?

The reason why most of us struggle to get out of bed is our fear of dealing with challenges throughout the rest of the day.

Starting your day with a simple Yoga Flow will free up the energy blockages in your body and help you to take a smooth ride through your day.

How To Slip Through Empty Space

In life, we generally tend to think of our bigger goals instead of the little milestones we have to accomplish to reach the end of our path.

I know how tempting it sounds to shortcut this path and achieve everything as quickly as possible.

But think of a road trip – Isn’t the ride the real adventure and not the destination? The biggest adventures are happening on the road, in the middle of nowhere.

The best experiences are the ones you can’t plan.

Life is unpredictable and sometimes all you can do is say yes to the journey.

In fact, if you think back in time you have to admit, overcoming the most challenging hurdles is the real achievement.

That’s the mantra of life – chanting “om” on its own won’t save you.

Chanting “Yes, I can” however, will.

Life teaches you personal growth through a whole journey and not just a one-time event. This is why practicing a Yoga Flow represents the path of life better than every other yoga practice.

Why It Is All About The Journey

In a Yoga Flow, you don’t have time to think. You have to adjust your body and float from one pose into the next. Instead of thinking of achievements you think of unity.

Think about the word flow.

According to the Cambridge dictionary flow means to move continuously and easily in one direction.

During a Yoga Flow, you avoid stopping to think and to be interrupted. It is one of the quickest ways to achieve full presence and unity of body and mind.

In a Yoga Flow, you represent the circularity of life.

There is no start or end to this circle. Yet, every move you make is a movement in the right direction.

You only move forwards because you never look back or think of adjusting the previous pose.

Change only happens in the present moment. The past is already done. The future is just energy and intention.
― Kino MacGregor

You deal with the present and transform your body step by step going through each pose until you finally reach Savasana, a pose where your mind can withdraw from the senses.

What Is The Most Challenging Yoga Pose?

If you are a yogi, you know this feeling of accomplishing difficult poses well.

We all have poses we want to achieve in the near future. For some people, it can be as simple as finding the right alignment in downward facing dog while others are going for their scorpion or handstands.

Yoga is a unique and personal practice.

We are all physically but also mentally different, and we all enter the practice at different stages of our lives.

You have poses you love and poses you hate.

Yet, most Yogis will agree, although Savasana is the easiest pose to execute it is mentally the most challenging pose.

Today, I invite you to take all of this one step further.

In the yogic philosophy, the physical asana practice is only a small part of something much bigger.

Performing certain poses allows you to prepare yourself for a deeper state of meditation and eventually, the ultimate goal is to reach Samadhi – bliss and enlightenment.

True yoga is not about the shape of your body, but the shape of your life. Yoga is not to be performed; yoga is to be lived. Yoga doesn’t care about what you have been; yoga cares about the person you are becoming. Yoga is designed for a vast and profound purpose, and for it to be truly called yoga, its essence must be embodied.

If you know how to prepare yourself in the right way Savasana allows you to dive into out-of-body experiences and lets your mind explode.

The Key To An Ecstatic Explosion Of The Mind

The right Yoga Flow helps you to achieve these transcendental experiences.

Remember the circularity the flow represents. The idea is to never stop your movements.

But how do you stay in a static pose and still keep the Yoga Flow?

The biggest challenge in yoga is neither performing a split nor mastering savasana.

The challenge is to explore movement within stillness and connect each pose through smooth transitions.

You want to glide through your entire yoga flow almost as if you are dancing your own little choreography.

The #1 Tool To Never Stop Moving

Moving while standing still sounds quite contradictory, I know.

Yet, it’s not.

There is a whole dance going on inside of you.

Think about the movement of your chest whenever you inhale or exhale. Think about the blood rushing through your veins, and think about all the organs that are working and keeping you alive.

The key to being in flow here is breath and awareness.

Try to break through your usual breathing patterns and allow yourself to tune in, tune in and…

Feel how the rhythm of your inner dance changes according to your breath. Imagine your breath is the orchestra, you are the conductor, and the connection of body and soul makes the dancer.

If you understand this particular Yoga Flow principle, you will be able to transfer this philosophy into your life and the flow you perform on your mat will become your daily mantra.

Remind yourself to stay present and connected with your dancing soul.

If you start mastering the transitions you´ll end the day with a feeling of unity and satisfaction. Eventually, you can go to bed and instead of Savasana, you will regenerate body and mind during a night of deep sleep.
